These pages are dedicated to the project: "Rell-Too, the chain-letter age".

Rell-Too is a fan-made "Age", in MYST vernacular (you might substitute "level" or "map"), for the game URU, which is a spin-off from the MYST series of games, produced by CYAN Worlds, and originally published by Ubisoft.

The age is built with the Open Source 3D modelling/rendering package "Blender", and exported to the game's file format, using the "PyPRP" exporter.

We who build (...or "write", in MYST terms) the age, are a flexible number of people who take turn building it, in the spirit of "Photoshop Tennis", or the "Exquisite Corpse" method of art creation, although unlike in the case of the latter, the entire "canvas" is always visible to everybody.

One person gets to edit the age at a time and can make any change they see fit, building on the accumulated work of everyone that has gone before.

Anybody can join the project at any time.

Skills is not a concern, since any type of contribution is equally valued, be it 3D modelling, creation of textures or concept art, sound design, composing, puzzle design, logic scripting, writing (story/in-game text/design docs), know-how of any sort, proof reading, testing, etc, etc.

Just shoot the project manager ("Jojon") a message, over at the Guild Of Writers, and express your interest in taking part. :)

The spider in the web:
I collect the the fruits of the the contributors' hard work, do any cleaning-up/censoring I arbitrarily deem necessary (none so far and I don't expect the need to arise), publish it, and pass the baton along to the next runner in the starting blocks.

The fourth visitor in this age. I've been learning Blender since the GoW Guild pub was released in MOUL. I've been slowly learning all the aspects of age creation ans specialize in Modeling and Lightmapping.

An aspiring writer who general skills are improving (though I maintain that PlasmaShop is out to get me!). For some reason, bad things seem to happen when I visit Rell-too, but that doesn't mean that good things can't happen (then again, bad things keep the plot thick and rolling!) I'm OK with Blender, but HATE Python (now if we could code in C# or Java, that would be a different story...)
